What are Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips?
Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips belong to a category of Drug-Free products referred to as Nasal Dilators. This is a technical name for non-surgical devices designed to lift the wall of the nasal passage to enable a free flow of air to reach your lungs.

Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips are a safe, easy to apply, removable Strip that use a Medical Grade Hypoallergenic Adhesive and a Patented Dual Lift, Dual Flex insert to gently lift the outer wall of the nose, opening the passageway without the discomfort of an in-the-nose device or the cost and discomfort of surgery.

Your Website Is Named "Discount Nasal Strips". Are They Cheaply Made?
Not at all. On the contrary, Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips are Patented and use a unique Dual Lift, Dual Flex Technology to provide the same or better relief from Nasal Congestion as the heavily Advertised brand. Instead of spending millions of dollars on Television advertising, and having to charge you for those ads in our prices, we decided to "put our money where your Nose is" and offer lower prices by advertising through word of mouth (nose) !

We've been in the business, selling Nasal Strips under store brand names since 1998, and recently decided to sell direct under our new Breathe Clear™ name. By buying on the Discount Nasal Strips site you don't get the fancy packaging or the pretty logo, just great performing Nasal Strips at great prices.

Why Do I Need Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips?
Consider these statistics:

Over 100 million Americans suffer from Allergies that lead to Nasal Congestion

Over 50 million American Men, Women and Children Snore

There are 716 known causes of temporary or chronic stuffed noses. Temporary suffering can come from the common cold or flu, and respiratory infections as well as Seasonal Allergies like Hay Fever.

While the effort is unconscious, people who are healthy get most of the air they breathe through their noses. The nose helps filter out impurities. We then exhale carbon dioxide and oxygen through our mouth and nose.

When the nasal passageway is stuffed or congested we suffer major discomfort and end up breathing more through our mouth. This forces our system to work harder to provide an adequate supply of air leading to further health issues including snoring and sore throats. Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips offer a drug free way to open up your nasal passages to allow your nose to do its job.

How do Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Work?
The Patented Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Dual Lift, Dual Flex system gently lifts the nasal walls to increase the airflow to the nasal passage. You will be able to feel the effects almost immediately.

The problem with medicines that are sold to relieve congestion is that they either work too slowly, treat symptoms you likely are not experiencing or make you drowsy.

What you will notice with Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips is that you will actually be more refreshed and alert because more air will be reaching your respiratory system.

The patented design of our strips provides a larger lift element than other Nasal Strips and was preferred by a high percentage of participants in multiple blind testings.

Because our Patented Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips work on each side of the nose independently, you are able to pull, stretch and manipulate the ends to fit exactly over the part of your nose that is most congested.

Most of us have noses that are not exactly symetrical. Other Nasal Strips, based on their Patent limitations, have to rely on a sometimes uncomfortable set of horizontally aligned plastic strips that run the full width of their strips to provide their lifting action.

Because of their design, some people experience discomfort where the embedded plastic strips cross the nose bridge, and are frustrated by the fact that the ends of the strips can only be placed in a straight line, that doesn't always match their less than straight noses.

Breathe Clear™ has a better, more comfortable solution...

By using two separate Flexors, one located at each end of the Nasal Strip, you have just the soft Medical Grade Adhesive backed material resting on your Nose Bridge.

To activate the Strips strong lifting power, you simply pull and stretch the Breathe Clear™ Strip so it reaches the exact spot that needs relief, and then press it on to your nose with the end flap resting gently on the part of your cheekbone that touches your nose.

It is the combination of the individual Flexors and the stretching of the strips that provides you with comfortable relief and increased Nasal airflow. At work, at play or while sleeping, you'll experience the benefits of Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips in comfort.

My wife tells me I Snore... Can Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Help?
Yes. Typical snoring occurs when your congested and you are not getting enough air through your nose. Your brain triggers the response to get you air through your mouth. The vibrations that are a result of the incoming air meeting the tissues in your throat cause what is commonly referred to as snoring.

Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Dual Lift, Dual Flex spring action helps open the nasal passage to allow a clear flow of air to enter through the nose as you sleep.

NOTE: It can take 7-10 days of using nasal strips to retrain your brain to use your nose for inhaling. It is out of practice. Here is the perfect opportunity for your bedmate to say: "Shut Your Mouth and Breathe Through Your Nose"

NOTE: Snoring can be a symptom of a more serious problem called Sleep Apnea that can be life threatening. If you snore consistently, wake up often during the night, short of breath and are tired during the day from a lack of restful sleep, we recommend you see your doctor or a sleep specialist and find out if you suffer from Sleep Apnea and discuss your surgical alternatives. Despite what is often  implied or alluded to in televised  advertisements, there are no Nasal Strips that are designed to cure this serious problem.

If I am Congested, How Long Does It Take For Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips To Work?
You should experience some degree of relief immediately, and more with the passage of time. As there are no medicines or drugs involved, you can start and stop using Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips as needed. We do however suggest that you wear the Nasal Strips for no longer than 12 hours a day.

Who should use Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips?
Anyone who is suffering from a clogged, stuffy or congested nose will enjoy the relief provided by Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips. Additionally, athletes and others who exercise or enjoy aerobics report loving the increased airflow made possible by Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips.

NOTE: We caution you against using Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips over Sores, Sunburns or Irritated Skin. While all precautions have been taken to provide a Drug Free Hypoallergenic solution, some have skin that is more sensitive than others. If a rash or skin irritation occurs, please discontinue use immediately.

Are Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Safe To Use?
All Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips are Latex Free and use Hypoallergenic, Medical Grade Adhesives. They are Drug Free so there is no concern about overdosing or forgetting to take your medications.

Since Breathe Free™ Nasal Strips are not inserted into the nose, they are not invasive or uncomfortable to wear.  It is recommended that Nasal Strips should be worn for a maximum of 12 hours a day and removed, following our instructions, to avoid skin irritation.

Are Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Safe For Children?

Yes... Due to exposure at school to classmates with colds and flus, children suffer from stuffed noses even more often than Adults. Drug Free Hypoallergenic Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips are a safe Clear Alternative to medications for treating Cold, Allergy or Flu related congestion. Nasal Strips should not be worn for longer than 12 hours to avoid possible skin irritation.

We offer a Kid's Size Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strip In a Neutral Color For Children 6-12 Years Old and are working on Fun Colors for the future.

NOTE: We Do Not Recommend You Use Our Product For Children Under 5 Years Old and that Children who wear Nasal Strips are instructed on their proper use, and supervised when removing the Strips.

Why Do So Many Football Players And Runners Wear Nasal Strips?
Evidence shows that Nasal Strips increase the flow of Air into the Nasal Passage with each breath. Receiving more air per breath reduces the number of breaths needed to keep you properly oxygenated. This enables those of you who take part in sports, running, cycling or other aerobic and strenuous activities  to consciously (and unconsciously) focus on your athletic endeavors.

You Make Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips In Neutral, Natural Tan and Clear. Which Should I Choose?
The flexible Neutral (for Kids) and the Natural Tan version was designed to allow for a better fit than the competitor’s rigid plastic nose bridge section. Our Patented method, using a special breathable, flex-stretch fabric and a Dual Lift, Dual Flex Technology, allows for multiple "stretch-to-fit" adjustments and a more "customized" fit.

The Clear version was originally designed for those with more sensitive skin. While they also employ the Dual Lift, Dual Flex Technology, due to the Medical Grade material needed to get a truly clear strip, they are not as adjustable as the Natural Tan version. Clear Nasal Strips are also most often chosen by people who need to wear Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips during the day, and wish to do so discretely.

Whichever version you choose, each Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strip is Hypoallergenic, Latex Free and comfortable to wear.

We are now offering a special Combination Pack with 18 Clear and 24 Natural-Tan Nasal Strips. Get the best in Daytime and Nighttime clear breathing!

Which Size Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips Should I Choose?

For Kids over 6 years old, we have a Kid’s size. Some Children have larger noses than others, and you may want to use a Small/Medium Adult size for a better fit.

Adults with Smaller Noses (Lucky you) have smaller nasal passages and often have a greater need for the lifting power of Nasal Strips.
For you the Small size is appropriate.

If you have an Average or Large (Prominent) Nose or a Broad Ethnic Nose Bridge, we suggest the Medium/Large size.

What Is The Best Way To Apply My Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strip?
First, use soap and water to wash your nose so it is clean and oil free, then dry thoroughly. If your skin is naturally oily we suggest an astringent to prepare your nose.

Remove a Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strip from its protective backing.

With the pointed edges down, center the strip on the bridge of your nose in a position just above the point where the flair of the nostril meets the top of the bridge and press the center of the Nasal Strip against the nose.

Holding the center in place with one hand, stretch and apply one end of the strip to the side of your nose just below the nasal "bone" (actually there are no bones in the nose, so actually what you are feeling is cartilage forming the Septum) where the skin is flexible with the end piece resting on your cheekbone just where it meets your nose. Center the strips tab end where pressing in gently with your finger cuts off your ability to breathe clearly.

Press firmly to form a bond and hold for about 10 seconds

Repeat for the other side.

Finally, use your fingers to press the full length of the adhesive strip firmly on the nose.

I Have A Sensitive Nose, What's The Best Way To Remove a Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strip?

Whether your nose is sensitive or not, do not remove the Nasal Strip from a dry nose. The Medical Grade Adhesive is meant to stay stuck on your nose until properly removed

The best time to remove any Nasal Strip is during a shower when the entire strip can get wet and allow the adhesives break down.

When removing Breathe Clear™ Nasal Strips use warm soapy water to moisten the area on and around the Nasal Strip and it will slide off.

In the rare event that there is any adhesive residue, simply rinse your nose with warm soapy water to remove.
